Purpose of the Rule
New Rule: Rule of Risk Management Consistency (33.3% Rule)
Effective Date: From July 16, 2025,22:30 p.m.
The objective of the 33.3% Rule is to prevent speculative “gambling trades” that generate large profits or losses in a single trade. It aims to develop and assess solid, reproducible trading skills that can consistently generate profits over the long term.
Summary of the Rule
These rules do not apply to Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Challenge Account (Demo environment) in the Fundora plan.
These rules apply to the Pro account (Demo environment).
Fundora Pro accounts (demo environment) are eligible to receive compensation for information provided that the following 33% rule is adhered to when receiving compensation.
How the 33.3% Rule is Calculated
The formula to check for compliance is as follows:
Maximum Daily Profit / Total Profit ≤ 33.33%
- Daily Profit: Account balance at 6:00 a.m. JST (summer) / 7:00 a.m. JST (winter) minus the account balance at the same time on the previous day.
Example: Daily profit on July 15 = $146,666 (balance at 6:00 a.m. on July 15) - $133,333 (balance at 6:00 a.m. on July 14) = $13,333.
- Maximum Daily Profit: The highest profit made in a single day since the Pro account was issued or since the last payout.This value will only be updated as long as it does not exceed the maximum daily profit up to that point in time.
Example: If a Pro account started on July 15, and the daily profits were: +$6,666 (15th), +$13,333 (16th), +$3,333 (17th), and -$6,666 (18th), the Maximum Daily Profit is $13,333.
- Total Account Profit: The net profit since the start of the account (current balance - initial balance, accounting for withdrawals).
Example: Using the same figures, the Total Profit as of July 18 would be $6,666 + $13,333 + $3,333 - $6,666 = $16,666.
Scenarios & Examples
Let's consider an initial account balance of $400,000.
Scenario 1: Continuous and even profits
- Day 1: +$13,333
- Day 2: +$13,333
- Day 3: +$13,333
Result:
- Total Profit: $39,999
- Max Daily Profit: $13,333
- Ratio:13,333 / 39,999 = 33.33%
Outcome: This score is within the criteria, so you are eligible for a reward.
Scenario 2: Large profit earned in one day
- Day 1: +$26,666
- Day 2: +$6,666
- Day 3: +$6,666
Result:
* Total Profit: $39,999
* Max Daily Profit: $26,666
* Ratio: 26,666 / 39,999 = 66.66%
Outcome: This violates the 33% rule, and you are not eligible for a reward at this point.
To become eligible, you must continue trading to increase your Total Profit until the Max Daily Profit of $26,666 is 33.33% or less of the new Total Profit. For example:
* Day 4: +$6,666
* Day 5: +$13,333
* Day 6: +$20,000
Adjusted Result:
* New Total Profit: $80,000
* Max Daily Profit: $26,666
* Ratio: 26,666 / 80,000 = 33.33%
Outcome: The score is now within the criteria, and you are eligible for a reward.
Scenario 3: Trading with both profits and losses
- Day 1: +$20,000
- Day 2: -$6,666
- Day 3: -$6,666
- Day 4: +$33,333
- Day 5: +$26,666
Result:
- Total Profit: $66,666
- Max Daily Profit: $33,333
- Ratio: 33,333 / 66,666 = 50.00%
Outcome:
This violates the 33% rule, and you are not eligible for a reward. You would need to continue trading to increase your Total Profit to meet the 33.33% threshold.
Checking Information and Reward Payments
Checking Trading Information
You can check your current Consistency Score (Rule Compliance Standard) at any time from your Dashboard.
Regarding Reward Payment
We will pay you the your share of the profit generated on the Pro account, at the information you requested, if you comply with the 33.33% rule on the Pro account. To submit a reward application, you must trade until the maximum daily profit is 33.33% or less of the total profit, thereby adjusting your consistency score to meet the requirement.
Conclusion: Aiming for Sustainable Growth
The purpose of these rules is to develop and assess the ability to make solid, repeatable trades that can generate ongoing profits. Fundora will continue to strive to create an environment where you can grow over the long term, and we look forward to your continued support.
